Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR)

For nearly 40 years, FAIR has led the call for immigration reform by offering and advocating solutions that help reduce the harmful impact of uncontrolled immigration on national security, jobs, education, health care, and our environment. It is important to note that the Federation for Immigration Reform believes that immigration policies should not be based on favoritism toward, or discrimination against any person on the basis of race, creed, color, religion, or gender.

How Do We Know FAIR is The Real Deal?

Let’s start with their finances. FAIR is a very transparent organization, in fact they share their spending with CharityNavigator.org, the nation’s largest and most-utilized evaluator of charities. The graph below shows that in FY 2015, the Federation for American Immigration Reform spent approximately 73.8% of revenue on their programs (educating and increasing public awareness of immigration issues and ensuring the public’s voice is heard), 12.6% of revenue on fundraising, and 13.6% on administrative costs.
